LeaseAI ("we," "us," "our") provides an AI-powered tool that explains residential lease agreements in plain language. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Uploaded lease document (PDF or image) — to perform the analysis you requested.
- Extracted text from your document — to generate the Safety Score, plain-language explanations, and follow-up lookups.
- Follow-up questions you submit — to locate and summarize the relevant wording in your document.
- Email address (only if you create an account or save an analysis) — to let you sign in and access saved analyses later.
- Basic technical data (IP address, timestamp) — to prevent abuse and enforce fair usage limits.
We do not ask for or require your full name, Social Security Number, or other sensitive personal identifiers to use the core analysis feature.
Third-party AI provider
To analyze your document, we send the extracted text (and, for image uploads, the image itself) to a third-party AI service for processing. This provider processes the content to generate the analysis but does not use it to train their models unless you explicitly opt in.
Automatic deletion
By default, uploaded documents and their analysis results are automatically deleted from our systems within 24 hours of upload, unless you explicitly choose to save the analysis to an account. If you save an analysis, it remains in your account until you delete it yourself or request full account deletion.
We never sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your uploaded documents or personal information to third parties for marketing or any other purpose. We do not use your uploaded documents to train or improve AI models.
Service providers we use
To operate LeaseAI, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers: our AI provider (currently Google Gemini via Lovable AI Gateway) to analyze documents; Supabase for secure data storage; Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that uploads come from real people, not bots; and Paddle to process payments, if you purchase a paid plan. Each of these providers only receives the minimum data necessary to perform their function.
International visitors
LeaseAI is designed primarily for residential leases in the United States. If you access LeaseAI from outside the United States, including the European Economic Area or UK, please note that additional data protection rights (such as those under GDPR) may apply to you; contact us at leaseai.support@gmail.com if you wish to exercise any such rights and we will do our best to accommodate them.
Your rights
You can, at any time: request a copy of the data we hold about you, request full deletion of your account and all associated data, and withdraw consent for any optional data use. To exercise these rights, contact us at leaseai.support@gmail.com.
Security
We use encryption in transit and at rest for stored data. Access to user documents is restricted through database-level access controls, meaning even our own systems only access specific records through controlled, authenticated pathways.
Children's privacy
LeaseAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
